Responsibilities

 

  • Manage facilities staff and contractors to deliver maintenance and operations services.
    • Oversee contractors and vendors. Responsible for contractor selection and evaluation of work quality, ensuring all practices are exercised in a legal and professional manner.
    • Seek proposals, hire, manage and generate payments for contracted service providers associated with facility maintenance, landscaping and operations, such as HVAC and plumbing repair personnel, janitorial service, day porter, maintenance workers, landscaping contractors, coffee and vending service, etc.
    • Work in coordination with legal and accounting for facility vendor contracts.
  • Manage facilities budget and project planning tasks.
    • Assist in the yearly budget preparation for Facilities and Services.
    • Develop policies and procedures for the use of supplies and facilities.
    • Maintain, and organize repair of facilities. This includes but is not limited to wall systems, floorings, roofs, security system, electrical and lighting, and fire protection systems.
    • Order office furniture and equipment.
    • Function as liaison with Building and Fire departments, utilities and insurance representatives, and others inspectors.
  • Manage all site Environmental Health and Safety activities, including but not limited to:
    • Ensure that federal, state and local laws, regulations, rules and codes are observed.
    • Creation and maintenance of safety action plans
    • Training of site personnel in support of safety action plans
    • Management of EH&S agreements with outside services and contractors
    • Records management, including SDS-GHS, training records, incident reporting, etc.
    • Develop controls for identified hazards, exposure, and other OSHA requirements.
    • Coordinate universal, medical and hazardous waste disposal.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, mail and courier functions
  • Develop and maintain an effective cross-functional working relationship with Manufacturing, Plant Engineering, Regulatory, and Quality Assurance.
  • Ensure that all appropriate documentation, drawings and specifications are generated in compliance with Integra’s procedures and statutory requirements (US FDA and ISO).
  • Assist in other facility maintenance tasks such as general painting, major cleaning projects, conference room set-ups, etc.
  • Practical application of problem solving techniques related to definition of root cause and generation of corrective actions.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

Education: BS / BA degree in related field

 

    Experience:

Minimum of 7+ years of experience in facilities management and safety, environmental or health management compliance.

Demonstrated high level of technical expertise, ability to apply skills to continuous process improvement while maintaining maximum levels of safety.

Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.

Strong desire to be a part of a high growth company with a fast paced, result-oriented culture.

Knowledge of various MS Office applications such as: Word, Outlook and Excel.

Experience with Agile preferred.
