Responsibilities

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

Primary responsibilities are to:

  • Perform data collection and compilation to generate rolling 12-month or longer Supply Plans for the assigned product lines and supply sites
  • Control, plan, direct and manage the supply chain to ensure customer demand fulfillment is balanced with service, delivery, and stock performance
  • Provide Customer Service reporting on Product Availability
  • Optimize the overall cost of ownership of materials and services at each link of the supply chain
  • Provide KPI reporting on supply, inventory, and supply chain costs that include customer service, plan attainment, inventory, and new product introductions
  • Provide support to the supply planning processes used in other sites and Divisions
  • Identify and load planning parameters and data into Oracle or other systems to facilitate requirements generation and reporting
  • Provide data and participate in the Sales & Operations Planning process meetings
  • Assist with development of requirements, test scripts, and implementation of upgrades to Oracle and with any new supply planning software and process improvements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for his position.

Education

  • College Degree in related field - advanced degree a plus
  • APICS certification a plus

 

Experience and Skill Sets

 

  • Good English-Language and communication skills, written and spoken
  • 3 – 4 years supply planning or supply chain experience
  • Prefer experience with ERP systems and planning software – Oracle, Movex or SAP a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Access skills a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and with other departments, both written and verbal.  Good negotiation and feedback skills
