Integra LifeSciences has entered into an acquisition agreement of Codman Neurosurgery.   This transformational acquisition creates compelling value for our shareholders, employees and patients, and enhances our global position in neurosurgery by adding a complementary product portfolio and the world-recognized Codman brand. This expansion position is open as a result of this exciting acquisition.

Responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to collaborate with functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs as well as effectiveness of established programs. Training Director will develop a program delivery schedule that provides training as needed and in locations that work for the participants. Regarding internal communication, Training Director is focused on providing engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of training. Moreover, she/he approves new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs. Training Director oversees and establishes relationships with vendors to provide additional outside training programs. Another core responsibility of Training Director is to manage and develop training professionals.

Qualifications

Requirements:

 

Relevant educational background with solid professional experience in commercial and trainng & development areas.

Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.

Requires 5+ years of managerial experience.

Experience in medical devices/healthcare sector that constitute professional's business acumen and creditibility is substantial for this role.

Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
