Inspects and tests products at various stages, raw materials, in process goods, returns, finished goods and purchased product. Compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine compliance to specifications.


  • Education: High school diploma required
  • Experience: Minimum one year experience
  • Technical experience and experience in the use of mechanical measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, thread/plug gages, scales and hardness tester).
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Certifications: ASQ certified quality inspector preferred but not required
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate computer and keyboard skills which include some exposure to spreadsheet software.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.  Must be able to demonstrate comprehension of written English by successfully completing unassisted written tests, including, but not limited to, Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability to utilize a computer, telephone, fax and copy machine as well as other general office equipment.
