Responsibilities

The role of the Cyber Security Response Analyst is to monitor system alerts and indicators of compromise across Integra’s security monitoring systems and respond as necessary to help protect the intellectual property and reputation of Integra LifeSciences.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Monitors Integra’s Cyber Defense systems and provides level 1 response to alerts matching the response criteria.
  • Performs Cyber-hunting tasks to find advanced threats and forensic data trails.
  • Conducts risk assessments of Integra systems, data repositories, processes, and devices.
  • Uses Security tools to review access control lists (ACL) and provides reports to be used by local site administrators.
  • Conducts vulnerability assessments on external and internal systems and devices to ensure compliance with the overall security policy and to ensure the protection of Integra’s intellectual assets and reputation
  • Participates in or leads incident response exercises and acts as a member of the Cyber Incident Response team.
  • Assists in the remediation of vulnerability findings, audit findings, risks and penetration tests.
  • Provides malware triage assistance.
  • Creates and updates documentation for processes and procedures.
  • Regularly reviews Security reports.
  • Develops and reports on security metrics.
  • Assists with confidential investigations in matters such as misuse of company assets, theft, and violations of Integra policies.
  • Responsible for ensuring litigation hold requests are executed according to requirements and maintains records of data being held by Information Systems. 
  • Participates in project meetings to understand the process, technology, and controls associated with projects and lends technical and security expertise where interpretation of the purpose of the controls is needed
  • Attends online and offsite Information Security seminars to enhance overall knowledge of Information Security best practices and current threats that could impact Integra’s systems, Intellectual property or reputation.
  • Responds to requests for data from Internal and External Audit functions.

Qualifications

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

 

  • 1-2 years Information Security Operations experience or equivalent Information Systems experience
  • Experience with security monitoring and assessment tools such as IBM QRadar, Carbon Black, LogRythm, Qualys, Nessus, etc.
  • Security risk assessment experience 1 yr +
  • Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation technical experience 2 yrs +
  • Linux experience 2yrs +
  • Knowledge of cloud-based services and security best practices

 

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly interested in the field of Cyber Security as a career path
  • Holds current Cyber Security-related certification (Security+, SSCP, CSA+, Network+, GSEC, CEH, CISSP) or is pursuing certification
  • Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients
  • Shows interest in developing leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and at times without supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
