The Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain is responsible for implementation and execution of Supply Chain aspects of strategic initiatives and projects. This includes such elements as acquisitions and divestitures, network redesign including plant or distribution changes, major recovery efforts and global/regional expansion

In addition, this role provides ongoing support to the further development of the global, regional and franchise Sales & Operations Planning processes 

  • Manage Supply Chain aspects of Business Development initiatives, primarily acquisitions or divestures of varying scope and scale:
    • Provide input to BD as Supply Chain SME for potential deals and agreements
    • Act as Supply Chain SME in due diligence processes
    • Act as Supply Chain lead in PMO or similar
    • Coordination with buyers/sellers to manage TSA or TMA requirements and obligations of both parties
    • Integration of conveyed processes into the Integra S&OP model, including demand and supply, inventory management and reporting
    • Training and functional integration of conveyed employees
    • Process design for end-to-end supply chain flows as acquired products are integrated. Cross-functional development including OTC, Distribution, Finance, Tax and others
  • Manage inventory planning for initiatives and major projects
    • Coordination with Regulatory Affairs to ensure all compliance requirements are understood
    • Build and consumption planning to minimize risk to both service and E&O during site moves, legal manufacturer changes, Distribution Centre moves or regulatory-driven requirements
    • Coordination with distribution and logistics partners
    • Coordination with IT, and MDM in particular, as acquired products are integrated
  • Act as deputy to the VP, Global Supply Chain and as a member of the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team on
    • Global, Regional and Franchise S&OP processes
    • Standardization of process and policy where appropriate
    • Standardization of system use and reporting
    • Application of Lean principles



  • The ideal candidate will have diverse experience and talents along with prior experience with a successful record in managing planning activities in a vertically integrated, multiple site, multinational, preferably medical products company
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a Supply Chain field; MBA or equivalent degree a plus
  • Certifications: APICS and Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing global supply chain planning activities, with at least 3 years managing planning teams;
  • Good familiarity with ERP systems and planning software, Oracle preferred;
  • Project Management experience
  • Sound understanding of Medical Device Supply Chains, including external and internal manufacturing
  • Sound understanding of the US and International Regulatory landscape
  • Strong leadership and demonstrated application of teamwork principles in matrix environments
  • Experience managing a Global S&OP process
  • Experience managing inventory through a major operational change
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation to Executive levels
  • Good judgment and maturity, proven leadership and strong analytical skills
