To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Understand surgical, dental and veterinary product offering
  •  Hit quarterly and yearly sales goals
  • Plan travel in advance to effectively and efficiently work the territory
  •  Strategize with multiple distributor partners including setting goals, spiffs and promos as needed 
  • Present products and services to distributors and end-users 
  • Train distributors and end-users on product usage 
  • Analyze and utilize sales data to grow sales with distributors 
  • Engage and develop distributors' relationships 
  • Forecast quarterly sales 
  • Use SFA to track overall pipeline including opportunities and headwinds 
  • Use selling skills to find and close opportunities


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university
  • 4+ years of successful Sales and management in the medical device marketplace (either direct sales or distributorship) 
  • Must have proven track record of surpassing sales goals 
  • Preferred medical, dental or veterinary sales experience
  • Successful track record of aggressively growing a region with independent distributors and driving revenue year over year
  • Willingness to take responsibility for sales within defined territory and be held accountable for regional goals
  • Must possess top level business management, interpersonal skills and computer skills
  • Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and be a polished presenter
  • Must have a stable work history
  • Must be willing and able to travel as needed
