    Responsibilities

    The Leader, Global Operations Excellence is a role focused on driving LEAN behaviors at Integra, through many different formats, including LEAN continuous improvement activities at sites, domestically and internationally.  

     

    • Lead and Facilitate continuous improvement events such as Action Work-Outs, Kaizen events, Kata, and workshops. Work cross-functionally with site and functional resources to identify, goals, engage participation, and execute events meeting a shared goal.
    • Lead project teams on initiatives that reduce cost, improve cycle times, reduce defects, eliminate variation and improve material flows. Projects should be delivered on-time, within budget, and achieve expected benefits.
    • Identify opportunities, clarify scope, prioritize projects and execute plans to meet continuous improvement and operations cost reduction targets.
    • Provide project management for a variety of initiatives. The Lean Leader identifies major phases, implementation steps, success metrics, key stakeholders, timelines, resource needs, and potential obstacles for each project. Utilizes standard project management tools and summary documents to track and communicate status of projects.
    • Successfully manage the relationship between project teams and all stakeholders
    • Provide mentoring, training and technical leadership to coach Integra staff in Lean methodologies.  
    • Maintains dashboards and reports to track and disseminate information in key areas.
    • Support broader organization in understanding and use of Lean Tools, such as Value Stream mapping, Visual management, Pull Systems, Action Work Outs, Kata, Stand-Up Visual Boards, and 5S.
    • Perform any other related duties as required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering or technical field
    • Lean Certification preferred
    • Green Belt Certification preferred
    • Project Management Professional preferred
    • Manufacturing experience required
    • 3-5 years of experience in a continuous improvement role; Subject Matter Expert in Lean, Project Management and various continuous improvement techniques (i.e. Work Out, Kaizen, Lean, Kata and Scoping Workshops) with applied experience in leading Lean projects and delivering results; Proven experience in product, process analysis and statistical techniques; Computer skills, communication capability, interpersonal skill sets, ability to perform in fast paced environment.
    • Must have demonstrated knowledge in business, process & statistical software (ex. MS Office, Visio)
    • Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally to conduct training, work-out, and other lean events (25-40%)
