    Responsibilities

    The Market Access Manager is responsible for the following:

    • Developing relationships with non-clinical key decision makers to increase access to Integra products and help position Integra to win tenders
    • Communicating the value of Integra products and services to non-clinical stakeholders, and is responsible for market growth in an increasingly tender driven market, across all businesses
    • Collaborate with the General Manager on Business Development opportunities in Canada

     

    Accountabilities

    • Develop Integra’s brand-equity with senior procurement customers and hospital administration customers
    • Strengthen value-for-money for focused Integra products with senior procurement customers and hospital administration customers
    • Liaise with all Canadian procurement entities across all phases of the tendering process 
    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of hospital, provincial and national procurement processes, provincial procurement laws, for existing and new technology introductions
    • Responsible for Integra Canada’s tender management team, which includes responsibilities for the development and maintenance of Integra’s pricing and reimbursement policies as well as pricing communications/management with government and procurement entities 
    • Responsible for overseeing all tender management activities cross-functionally, including marketing, sales and contracts
    • Develops and executes a tactical plan for achieving/maintaining product access in an increasingly strained healthcare system
    • Assists with strategic brand planning for new and existing products and provides input into broader marketing plan including development of critical success factors and execution of required tactical plans
    • Ensure the Sales and Marketing teams are promptly and accurately informed of competitive activities, industry trends and other field matters of importance 
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals 
    • Perform other duties as assigned and appropriate 

    Qualifications

    • Minimum bachelor’s degree (sciences, economics, political science or public administration)
    • Solid experience (3+ years) in medical device Market Access role, including competency in health technology assessment and healthcare analytics.
    • In-depth knowledge of the medical devices or related industry 
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
    • In-depth knowledge of the governing regulations related to medical devices and healthcare industries 
    • Experience managing and administering large-scale, complex contract negotiations and processing 
    • Good organizational and time management skills: can prioritize multiple tasks and goals to ensure timely, on-target and within-budget accomplishment of such 
    • Good communication and presentation skills: communicates in a timely, thorough and concise manner and is comfortable presenting information to others at varying organizational levels 
    • Strong computer skills, including multiple applications 
    • Proven ability to effectively and consistently demonstrate Integra LifeSciences’ Values and Behaviors
