    Responsibilities

    Processing of assigned bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls

    • Reviewing in detail assigned payrolls and cross-check payrolls processed by other payroll peers, focusing on new hires, salary changes, terminations, benefits, and leave of absences
    • Conducts audits of data, changes and requests that come in to ensure compliancy with company policy and practices
    • Escalates issues or concerns to the Global Payroll Manager or other management
    • Compiles all data needed to process assigned payrolls
    • Organizes and files payroll records and reports
    • Sets up and processes direct deposits, garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, severances, stop payments, stock, 401k and payroll adjustments
    • Reviews and ensures authorization of worked hours by employees and supervisors in eTIME
    • Administers Enterprise eTIME (passwords, profiles, PTO)
    • Reconciliation of any payroll items, such as annual and quarterly reports
    • Runs interfaces to move Payroll data from Oracle to PayForce and to move worked hours from eTIME to PayForce each period. Resolves any errors on the transferred data
    • Reports and follows up issues with ADP National Accounts on eTIME, Connection, PayForce and ADP GL issues/ projects/ changes
    • Ensures compliance with SOX regulations by following established processes and procedures
    • Follows all Federal and State payroll laws
    • Creates custom and ad hoc reports using ADP Reporting
    • Participates in problem solving and special projects within the Payroll Department (such as acquisitions, improvements of systems and processes)
    • Assists with training of new Payroll Associates and documentation of training tools
    • Performs advanced payroll functions (i.e. gross-up, retroactive pay, stock options, deferred stock and deductions)
    • Promptly responds to inquiries received into the payroll department from the HR Service Center and other areas such as benefits and HRIS
    • Fully understands other Payroll Codes/ Sites as potential back up for other Payroll peers
    • Fully understands company benefit plans for proper deductions

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required in HR, Accounting or relevant field
    • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) desired

     Experience

    • 3-6 years of experience processing payroll with multi-state payroll operations experience, global payroll processing a plus
    • 1-2 years of experience with ADP payroll products is preferred; ADP Vantage HCM is a plus
    • Process oriented with the ability to create/recommend improvements to processes
    • Customer service oriented with the ability and desire to work in a team environment
    • Experience with Oracle ERP and payroll interfaces a plus
    • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent computer and excel skills are also required
    • The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
    • Must be highly detail oriented
