    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: 


    • Oversee our external and internal social and digital communications presence, which includes intranet, internet, and social media outlets such as, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
    • Support development and execute online strategy; edit content and work with internal stakeholders and outside vendors to advance these projects.
    • Update and maintain corporate social media forums, including posts, social listening and follow-up.
    • Support updates and enhancements of corporate intranet, including development of news articles, blogs, video and photo galleries.
    • Support the update and maintenance of the corporate website, news features and appearance of brand pages as well as approving content uploads for relevant sub-pages.
    • Support external public relations/media relations, including vetting and providing counsel for digital/social media outlets. Write and distribute news releases and build relationships with social/digital media outlets.
    • Monitor and measure effectiveness of digital/social media efforts/presence using various analytical tools and platforms.


    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position:


    • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing
    • Minimum three to five years of digital communications experience (social media, website, intranet, online communication design/development)
    • Highly proficient in social media outlets such as, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter
    • Highly proficient in HTML, including solid knowledge of SharePoint, WordPress or similar digital content development and management platforms
    • Solid experience with using traditional/social media monitoring tools such as Cision, Google Analytics, HootSuite® or related social media management tools
    • Highly proficient in PowerPoint and MS Office tools
    • Possesses good judgement and ability to work with a variety of people and groups in a collaborative and constructive manner
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong project management skills, well-organized, with an excellent eye for details
    • Must be able to manage multiple projects effectively under pressure
    • Highly creative and imaginative, and curious about stakeholder need
    • Understand different language styles that appeal to various target audiences
    • Ability to work within strict budgets
