    • Directs and participates in process validations and verifications including IQ, OQ, and PQ for all equipment installations
    • Provide engineering technical input and support for new product, product improvements and other changes to existing products including private label following design control processes.
    • Analyzes manufacturing processes and initiates and manages process improvement projects to improve efficiency and quality
    • Uses CAD software and equipment to create and modify mechanical drawings and perform engineering and design tasks.
    • Provide input for the development and documentation of product and manufacturing specifications for new and existing products (includes Bills of Material & Bills of Operation).
    • Manages engineering design change processes and associated documents and drawings through prototype evaluations and testing.
    • Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics.
    • Analyzes test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications (i.e. outputs meet inputs).
    • Interface with contract manufacturers and other Miltex facilities for engineering design changes.


    • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering preferred or related strong mechanical background.
    • Experience: 5-7 years minimum experience.
    • Proficient use of CAD software.
    • Ability to complete technical mechanical drawings.
    • Must be able to read and write in English.  Must be able to demonstrate comprehension of written English by successfully completing unassisted written tests, including, but not limited to, Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Must be able to observe company policies and safety procedures at all times.
