    The Manufacturing Engineer plays a key role in the success of production activities.  This individual helps coordinate and maintain accurate calibration and preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for various pieces of laboratory equipment.  The Manufacturing Engineer assists in editing and drafting manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other critical documents.  This individual assists in the success of the supply chain by monitoring raw material requirements to fulfill our customer demand.      


    • Responsible for Maintenance and calibration of Facility and Process Equipment
    • Schedule calibration activities with outside entities and verify services rendered
    • Coordinate Preventative Maintenance (PM) with internal and external technicians
    • Assist in the execution of select PM activities
    • Implement new and improve existing PM schedules
    • Manage unexpected repairs of malfunctioning or damaged laboratory equipment with experienced technicians
    • Maintain existing maintenance contracts and implement continuous improvements
    • Lead CIP – Cost improvement Projects, determine inefficiencies and come up with solutions that improve P&L     
    • Draft and edit SOPs for new and existing equipment, engineering runs for new product, etc.
    • Write technical documents for manufacturing processes
    • Monitor raw material inventory and safety stock to prevent backorders
    • Uphold regulatory guidelines set forth by the FDA, AATB, HHS, and OSHA
    • Assist in procurement and buying activities as needed
    • Perform any other manufacturing related duties as required



    • Bachelor’s degree required, science or business background preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience working in Materials or Manufacturing. 
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision. 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Must be skilled in computer software, Excel, Word, and ERP/MRP management software. 
    • Experience with Oracle in Manufacturing required.
