    The Senior Tax Analyst is primarily responsible for all aspects of the quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and reporting. The Senior Tax Analyst may be asked to assist in the preparation of aspects of the provision, with review by the Senior Manager - Tax Accounting or Director – Tax Accounting. The Senior Tax Analyst may also lead special projects which will provide analysis for support of aspects of the provision.




    The Senior Tax Analyst is under the direct supervision of the Director - Tax Accounting.



    The Senior Tax Analyst will not have any direct reports.



    • Prepare and manage the complex tax technical areas of the quarterly and annual tax provision; perform a quarterly/annual income tax payable analysis;
    • Primarily responsible for the identification, analysis and documentation of FIN 48 Uncertain Tax Positions;
    • Draft tax-related footnote disclosures and commentary to be included in the Company's SEC filings;
    • Prepare account reconciliations of various balance sheet tax accounts;
    • Emphasize and incorporate Sarbanes Oxley processes and procedures.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
    • CPA preferred
    • At least 3 to 4 years of progressive tax experience in either public accounting and/or private industry (preferably in a manufacturing environment) with focus on FAS 109 and FIN 48 a plus. 
    • Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
    • Corporate income tax preparation (Federal, State & Local) experience required.
    • Experience with international operations a plus.  
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.  
    • Strong investigative and analytical skills.
    • Focus on exceeding goals and results. 
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
    • Proficient in OneSource Tax Provision, Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
    • Familiarity with Oracle ERP, Hyperion a plus.
