    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Clinical Specialist provides clinical education and technical support to customers, as it pertains to Integra’s Wound/Surgical portfolio. A significant amount of time will be associated with Integra’s Advanced Wound Care portfolio, specifically within non-tertiary accounts. The Clinical Specialist will use their clinical expertise, market & product knowledge, relationship building, clinical change-management skills and exceptional customer-service to advance therapy adoption within targeted accounts

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    In collaboration with the Wound/Surgical sales team:

    1. Help develop customers’ technical and clinical understanding of Integra’s wound/surgical portfolio and associated treatment pathways
    2. A significant amount of time will be dedicated to hands-on customer education and training, focusing on the AWC portfolio

     To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

    • Work collaboratively with the Wound and Surgical Territory Managers to execute account strategies around Integra’s Advanced Wound Care and Surgical Reconstruction portfolio
    • Support Territory Managers with sales presentations and customer interactions
    • In collaboration with Sales and Marketing, develop & execute clinical education programs for priority/target accounts that will promote knowledge, increase product utilization and help achieve growth targets
    • Liaise with key clinicians and staff of supported care partners in the community, regarding clinical needs, patient management direction, and effectiveness of products/outcomes.
    • Attends conferences/meetings and promotes Integra’s Wound/Surgical portfolio with Professional Associations and Organizations
    • Supports customers within the tender development process and actively contributes to Integra’s responses to Wound/Surgical RFPs
    • Identify and execute on growth strategies that drive synergies across Integra’s full portfolio of products
    • Acts as a valued resource to the Marketing Department during product development, new product introductions, and product promotions.
    • Maintains a high level of clinical, market and product knowledge
    • Operates within defined budgets and adheres to Corporate policies and procedures
    • Performs administrative duties in a timely manner and as defined by their manager
    • Work on special projects, as needed

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 3 years related experience in the Medical Device Industry
    • Registered Nurse or Experience in a Supportive/Clinical Specialist Role within the Medical Device Industry
    • Must have a working knowledge of Wound Care Treatment and Pathways, Ideally in both the Community and Acute settings.
    • Experience working with Community Care Partners and Ontario LHIN’s would be an asset.

     

     Travel:

    • Significant travel: 70% within Ontario, 30% across Canada
