    Responsibilities

    • Maintain a high activity level and be able to effectively manage and prioritize numerous projects and responsibilities to efficiently and effectively run the site.
    • Responsible for the overall direction, planning, coordination, and evaluation of the manufacturing area.
    • Monitor production and quality standards on an ongoing basis.
    • Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
    • Develops budget and cost controls for departments. Ensures expenses are kept in tight control.
    • Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
    • Reviews and generates production and operating reports
    • Works closely with product development and product transfer teams to ensure new products and line extensions are transferred into the plant with minimal disruptions to daily routine operations.
    • Maintain current knowledge of Integra policies, procedures, and protocols as well as executing job responsibilities in accordance with such policies, procedures, and protocols
    • Work closely with the quality department to coordinate the generation, and processing, of non-conformances, CAPAs, and audit observations
    • Review, update, and generate standard operating procedures, as required.
    • Responsible for the overall direction, planning, coordination, and evaluation of the manufacturing area.
    • Oversee and coordinate production team meetings and follow-up items with area supervisors.
    • Work with other management staff to ensure Integra remains in compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
    • In absence of Plant Manager, lead site as appropriate.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree with college coursework in life sciences preferred
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Tissue Banking, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Biologic industry
    • A minimum of one year of tissue banking experience or medical procedure based work environment
    • Knowledge of aseptic technique preferred
    • Must possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience required.
    • Demonstrated organizational and communication skills. Must possess strong leadership skills with team-focused attitude and approach.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other National and International regulations and standards.
    • Demonstrated computer skills. Must be able towork in an Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Database and quality data reporting experience required. Understanding of basic MRP process to control and complete work orders necessary.
    • Batch manufacturing experience.
    • Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma a plus.
    • Experience working in a chemical environment with a thorough understanding of the safety applications is required.
