Overview

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to expedite exports and maintain compliance
  • Assist with auditing ourselves & DC’s to assure proper compliance
  • Partner and obtain internal QA, Regulatory documents or external Chamber of Commerce COO certificates to support Customer Excellence
  • Partner with Task force and Project management team to expedite and improve existing processes.
  • Develop, update or maintain document formats, templates & WI as agreed
  • Partner with cross-functional team members to agree on service levels for documents / certificates turn-around time.
  • Partner & collaborate with Information Systems to automate and improve existing documents required to support QA, Regulatory, TC, Distribution, Procurement as needed.
  • Partner with cross-functional team members to assess certificate and compliance requirements.
  • Respond to requests in a timely manner (typically within 24 business hours), measure cycle time and drive accountability by stakeholder for delivering documents / certificates.
  • Provide an outstanding customer experience to internal and external customers by providing effective guidance and solutions, listening, delivering on commitments, seeking opportunities to learn and teach, and being respectful and passionate.
  • Stay abreast of changes in Export Customs Compliance and business environment leading to new or changing requirements in documents / certificates as needed.
  • Investigate and follow up on shipment delays resulting from documents / certificates.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Perform other duties and/or projects, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Ability to engage with and influence process owners.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a matrix team environment.
  • Formal writing ability.
  • Organization, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate meetings.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solution-oriented mindset and approach.
  • Previous experience with export documents and certificate issuance.
  • Export Certification preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, biological industry, or closely related preferred.
